Cairo — Arrival
Arrival in Cairo, welcome at Cairo Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel in Cairo.
Cairo — Saqqara & Giza Plateau
After breakfast, departure for the visit of the Saqqara Necropolis: the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the royal pyramids, the funerary texts, the mastabas… Lunch at a restaurant included. In the afternoon, visit of the Giza Plateau: the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel in Cairo.
Cairo / Aswan — GEM & Domestic Flight
Breakfast, departure for the visit of the GEM: the Grand Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, the treasures of Tutankhamun, the Solar Boat and the monument halls. Lunch at a restaurant included. In the afternoon, visit of the Coptic Quarter, the Hanging Church and the Church of St. Sergius, then discovery of the Khan El Khalili Souk. Transfer to Cairo Airport, domestic flight Cairo / Aswan. Arrival in Aswan, welcome at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel in Aswan.
Aswan / Abu Simbel
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a boat ride and visit of the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Then departure by private car to Abu Simbel, a 3-hour drive. Arrival in Abu Simbel and embarkation on the Lake Nasser cruise ship. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit of the 2 famous temples of Abu Simbel (Ramesses II and his wife Nefertari). In the evening, the Sound and Light show at Abu Simbel. Dinner and overnight on board.
Amada / Kasr Ibrim
Breakfast. Sailing towards Amada in the morning. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit of the Amada temples and the tomb of Pennout. You will see Kasr Ibrim, the only site not relocated, of which only the ruins of an ancient fortress remain. Dinner and overnight on board.
Wadi El Seboua
Breakfast, sailing towards Wadi El Seboua. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit of the Greco-Roman Temple of Meharakka at Wadi El Seboua and Dakka. Dinner and overnight on board.
Aswan / Cairo — Kalabsha Temples
Breakfast, in the morning, visit of the Kalabsha temples. Disembarkation from the ship in Aswan. In the afternoon, a pleasant felucca ride around Elephantine Island. Transfer to Aswan Airport, domestic flight Aswan / Cairo. Arrival in Cairo, welcome at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel in Cairo.
Cairo — Final Departure
Breakfast. Depending on flight schedule, transfer to the airport, flight back home.
